MORE INFO | This is a medium difficulty trek, where hiking shoes are required. Walking time is about 4 hours, with a total distance of 9.5 km and 400 mt altitude gain.

Itinerary

Arrival private transfer to your hotel in the San Cassiano-Dolomites. Briefing and orientation with our local Representative.

Hike in the Fanes-Braies Natural Park. Be stunned by the beautiful landscape of dramatic peaks and green pastures. Enjoy a fantastic view of Lake Lagazuoi and have lunch at a refuge. Walk back to the hotel 4-5 hours hiking, difference in heights 3280'.

 

Visit to Ortisei, known for its century old wood carving tradition. Ride the cable to Alpe di Siusi, Europe’s largest Alpine pastures. Easy trek and cooking class at the Malga to learn two traditional local specialties, followed by lunch. Return by minibus .

Museum to view Ötzi, the Ice Man the 5300 years old famous mummified corps. After lunch transfer to Caldaro Lake and to the South Tyrolean Wine Road. Stop at a local winery, guided visit and wine tasting. Leisure E-bike excursion through vineyards, and orchards and reach a bio winery. Wine tasting. Return to Bolzano.

Guided visit to the Trauttmansdorff Botanical Gardens located in the town of Meran and considered amongst the most visited in Europe. Transfer to Maso Corto and ride the cable car to reach South Tyrol’s highest-elevation summit station at 10,538’. Ötzi the Iceman was discovered very close to here.Enjoy the view with included Coffee and cake. Return by cable car to the base station and on to Bolzano.

Departure private transfer to the airport/train station.
