Alpine Villages and private Coffee Workshop

After a walk through the charming village, we reach the Church of San Valentin, for a quick top for pictures. The church with bell tower with the typical onion-shaped roof is known above for the beautiful frescoes dating back to the 14th and 15th century. We continue to the pond of Fie’, located in an idyllic location, surrounded by the Sciliar mountain range. As it is possible to bathe, in summer is a real pleasure for local and tourist while in winter as it freezes , is open for ice skating and curling.

From here we will start and easy hike that will take us to the majestic Castle Presule (about 1h30 long, easy) famous for the witch trials that took place here and where 9 women lost their lives. Lunch will be arranged along the way depending on timing.

Before heading back to Bolzano, we will stop at a local coffee brewery house where you will join a private coffee workshop and learn all about its history and roasting techniques followed by a coffee tasting. Return to Bolzano afterwards.
