In South Tyrol we have not four but five seasons and we call it Toerggelen, our very own version of the more popular Thanksgiving. Toerggelen is a century old tradition that celebrate the end of the harvest season. On this full day excursion, we’ll reach the South Tyrol Wine Road, home to more than 200 castles and ruins. On our 3 hours hike we’ll discover three beautiful castles. We’ll travel back in time and immerse ourselves in a medieval atmosphere as well as soak into the beautiful panorama. At Castle Hocheppan we’ll visit the chapel and its frescoes followed by a Toerggelen experience. Last stop at the ruins of Castle Boymont and return to the starting point.
