Tour starts

Meet your English speaking guide at your hotel lobby and start the transfer for the Alto Adige Wine Road, a paradise for wine lovers! 70 wineries. Cozy villages and the warmest alpine lake in Europe are some of the sights you will see along the way, while you enjoy the commentary of your private guide and get ready for your hands on experience!

Authentic Food Tasting Experience

Learn how the prepare authentic local dishes typical of South Tyrol with the help of a local Chef in a beautiful Buschenschank – Agritourism on the famous Alto Adige Wine Road, the cradle of renowned wines such at the Gewuerztraminer, Lagrein and Schiava. During the class you will learn the recipes of a 2 typical dishes Knoedeln, a typical  dish of South Tyrol and fresh Tagliatelle or Gnocchi, main courses typical of the Italian tradition. You will also taste a traditional Brettlejause, a platter with Speck, local cheeses and pickles.

Historical and Cultural Experience

With vineyards reaching all the way to warm bathing lakes, historic manors and the mountains in the vicinity the Wine Road is a truly unique and picturesque area. There are 16 wine villages located along the South Tyrol Wine Road, each of them with their own charm and modern flair. Your guide will illustrare the area and point out the most interesting sights along the way.

Tour ends

Following the class, enjoy the meal you helped prepare, paired with wine produced by the Agriturism. Afterwards drive the short distance to reach the village of Termeno, the birthplace of South Tyrol native grape, Gerwuerztraminer. Here enjoy a complimentary wine tasting at the cutting edge brand new wine consortium as well as soak into the wonderful view over the lashing vineyards that surround the winery. After a 30’ stops, transfer back to your hotel.
