Day 1: Bolzano-Merano-Terlano

 Walking tour of Bolzano followed by a visit to Roncolo Castle and its secular frescoes dating back to the Middle Ages. Following the visit meet with your private driver and transfer to Merano, the Pearl of South Tyrol.Walking tour of and the historical center, the Cathedral, the Medieval Arches and the Tappeiner Promenade. Stop along the South Tyrol Wine Road, for a wine tasting before returning to Bolzano.

Day 2: Glorenza-Sluderno-Trauttmandorfs

Morning departure to Glorenza-Glurns, Europe’s smaller medieval walled city and stop for visit. Continue to Castle Coira-Churburg, the best preserved South Tyrol castle in South Tyrol, famous for its impressive armory. Lunch at the historical Brewery Forst. Next are the botanical Gardens of Trauttmansdorf, considered amongst the most visited in Europe. Stop at Rametz Castle for a wine tasting before returning to Bolzano.

Day 3: Bressanone-Novacella-Val di Funes

Morning tour to Bressanone-Brixen, South Tyrol oldest city and Episcopal See. Walking tour and visit of its major sights: the cloister, the Cathedral the 230 foot high Gothic tower and White Tower.
Continue to the Novacella Abbey, a 800 years old monastery. Visit of the Abbey compound as well as the monastery cellar. The area around Novacella is also famous for growing the Sylvaner grape. Light lunch with tasting of local products. Stop at the fairy tale Funes Valley to capture on camera the small church of San Giovanni in Ranui with the unique background of the Dolomites.
