Itinerary

1. Tour Starts

Meet your English speaking guide in front of the APT Tourism Office. After a quick introduction to the tour and the city, start walking with your guide and learn about how the Trento for 150 years was a famous port city and how with human intervention the layout of the city was changed.

2. Authentic Food Tasting Experience

During the walk that will take you to many different corners of the historical center, your guide will introduce you the local cuisine by stopping at few stalls, where you’ll able to sample local cold-cuts, special sweets and coffee, a seasonal food as well as a typical Italian aperitivo.

3. Historical & Culture Experience

Trento might be an off-the-beaten-path town but it’s definitely not to be missed. It’s interesting history, spams from Roman times to the Middle Ages, as a town ruled by prince-bishops and the location in 1545 of the ecumenical council of the Roman Catholic Church, that impacted the artistic and architecture development of the town. Still today beautiful palaces adorned by wonderful frescos are proof of that particular time.

4. Tour Ends

The tour is almost at the end, but there’s still something left to do! Your guide will take you to a popular spot within locals, where you will enjoy a typical Aperitivo with drinks and fingerfood!
